1. Turn off the water
It is the first that you should do in this project. You must turn off the hot and cold water supply valves, usually located directly under the sink. Then open the tap to drain off the water.
2. Remove the old kitchen faucet
You must remove the old kitchen faucet with using a wrench. It can disconnect both faucet water lines from the supply tubes. And then you can lift the old faucet out of its mounting hole. Do not forget to use a putty knife to scrape away any old putty that remains around the hole.
3. Install a new kitchen faucet
Put a new kitchen into the last place of the old faucet, then screw the mounting nut to the faucet tailpiece and tighten with a basin wrench. Connect the spray hose to the faucet tailpiece. After that you can tighten the water line nuts and open the shutoff valves.
